A time travellin' ramblin' man

If you owned the Tardis and could time travel back to the early days of rock and roll with a song or album that was only released in the last 20 years or so, that you yourself could then claim to have written, and then record and release in 1962 (for example); then fast forward back to 2023 to find that that song or album was in all of the top 10 “best ever” lists etc. because it changed the world, changed music, or was way ahead of it’s time etc etc…

What song / album would it be?

(sorry, I’m having a very slow afternoon )

For all the girls then,

Wow! That’s a good song. Thanks for sharing. Maybe I’ll find some time to listen more to her.

I don’t even know. Mostly because songs can’t be copied like that. What makes them great are artists who recorded them. So even with all the lyrics and tabs for, let’s say, Halestorm album, I won’t be able to make it as good as Lzzy did.

Wow, that’s a long time that I last heard this song… Great choice  I might even consider forgiving you the “girls”

Hehe… that’s just what Marty McFly did in Back to the Future (Johnny B Goode & wig out solo)

Easy one for me, I really had the hots for Gwen Stefani!

Not wanting to make anyone feel old but 20 years ago was the early 2000s.

I think it’d have to be this one. Or one of their other songs :grinning:
