Acoustic guitar and all these big bends
Hi, I am oversees right now and the only guitar at my disposal is a beginner acoustic. I have been a bit nervous about all the string bending in this unit. I understand its wildly important to blues guitar but I have broken a couple strings and wearing them down pretty quickly. Also, the country I’m in is absurdly humid all year round and I believe that they greatly affect the life span of my strings. Currently looking at 68 percent humidity this morning.
I guess I’m wondering if I am doing something wrong or if I should use a different string gage, alter my technique a bit or if thats just the price you pay with all this humidity
my current strings are Custom 11.5 martin “authentic acoustic”
