Awesome Alex! The after video is :fire:, you sound authentically bluesy. I loved the chorus staring at 0:45, the licks you combined and how you joined them together, and the phrase near 1:00 . Listened to that 3x just now.

All three sound good to me. I’d be happy just to be able to play the ā€˜before’.

Thank you for sharing these Alexey. Anyone who has viewed your AVOYP nad / or Open Mic performances will know that you have some amazing acoustic playing ability. It was fantastic to see you embrace the electric realm and put yourself out of your on comfort zone. The Before & After clearly demonstrate your own progress and that, no matter where you start, the intense and immersive nature of the BLIM course can push and motivate to ever greater things.

Hi Alexey,

Thanks for posting before/after, very inspirational, I loved you last video in the post, some lovely bluesy fluid play with great licks. I hope I can achieve as much.

Cheers

Like @stewartw said, the first one already sounded good. But the last one’s great. Very impressive improvement.

Wow Alexey, your pre-BLIM video was really good. Your graduation video is professional grade. It sounds great.

Fantastic Alexey! In particular your ā€œBluedellingā€ solo was off the scale…

The ā€œbeforeā€ already sounds not so bad, but the last one is awesome!

I resemble this comment. The first one is a dream for me. But I definitely see the improvement from there to the final video. Nice work!

That’s one thing keeping me from signing up for BLIM - I feel like I’m still just too beginner. I did a ā€œguitar bootcampā€ program on another site awhile back and the beginning of it was great for me. But the pace of the structured course was too much and the last few weeks got way over my head really fast and I just stopped participating. I’m afraid of a similar thing happening on the BLIM course. The other one was not such a big deal since it didn’t cost me anything. But BLIM is a significant cost outlay and I don’t want to get left behind.
