Hi Justin. A a newby who just bought into your excellent app, I would love to know how to know when strings are “old” and need to be replaced. Thanks
There’s not a straight forward answer. Depends on your budget and how much you can spend. Professional musicians change them very often as soon as they feel the sound is becoming dead. I’m at the opposite end as I’ve always lived in poverty so it can be more than a year.
