Anyone in for a beginner songwriting challenge?

Haha trust you!

Interesting idea, I shall put that one in and see what comes out. The latest AI App Iā€™ve been messing around with is vastly superior to what I used before.
I shall put one up from each genre I try!

Hmmmā€¦ I have to read your lyrics with better time, but your chorus makes me think Reggae or Ska? I think that could even work well.

So, are you joining the club, Darrell?

Well, if I was paranoid, I could think that there are some alien forces trying to sabotage our project by trying to hijack the threadā€¦ :grinning:

Not really, I just want to help! Iā€™ve always been interested in Poetry but hadnā€™t really thought about lyrics as I donā€™t sing and I prefer female vocals anyway. When I found that AI could do the singing for my lyrics it opened up another avenue for me. If anyone has a song they would like help with if they give me the main bullet points of what the song is about I could create my idea on it as a initial draft to follow up with and modify to their taste. I would be quite happy to help, itā€™s something that keeps me occupied and not thinking about Fibromyalgia (which is my curse).
A simple tip! Write down on paper what you want to convey with your song, then start with the Chorus (because the Chorus has to reinforce your intent), then start writing verses as a story, a Bridge should be a period of reflection about the story so far and the outro should be the final conclusion.
Hope that helps, take your time about it, sometimes I take a few hours to write a song other times it can be weeks!

I do this all the time, literally. I just think of it as inspiration. Most songs get changed quite a bit but some to my ears are still a bit too close to the original.
Usually end up changing key, and most importantly tempo. Usually some chords. And of course the melody.
