Hi: I’m hoping this is the right category to ask this question, if not, please point me in the right direction…
This is related to the “Learn” and the “practice” tabs at the top of the Module 1 daily practice routine on the website.
I’m a beginner and working on one minute changes from D to A covered under the practice section. I don’t plan to advance until I have this down.
When I look at the learn section the organization is different from the practice section and includes additional topics: 2/3 Changing chords, 1/3 one string riffs, 1/4 Playing songs and 0/6 backstage. Could you tell me what the fractions represent? I’m certain the numbering is related to modules or chapters but clarification would be great. In section 1/3 one string riffs it shows tabs which is not covered in the first module. Going forward it would be helpful to understand this.
I figured this out… The fractions represent progress made in each section as they are completed.
I do have another question…
In the section for one string riffs, it assumes that I can read tabs but tabs are not covered in the module.
Was there something in module 1 that would have pointed me to the lesson in the practical music theory section and I missed it? How would I have known to look in the theory section? I’m assuming this will occur in future modules as well and just need to know where to find the info.
You’re learning in the app. It appears the app has indeed these one string riffs. If it’s of any consolation: they seem to be quite bewildering for people just starting out. You’re not the first to ask these questions
