App Says Version not supported

I just installed the app on a very new iPad when I started up. It says that this version is no longer supported and it should be updated but when I click on update, it just goes to the App Store and it’s already on the current version so the app is unusable on my iPad

same problem here, it works on my iphone, but same problem on my aipd air 13 with the latest updates available

Edit: it worked 3 Hours ago on my iphone, same error on iphone now to.

Same here. Ipad 6th generation with iPadOS 17.7.8 installed. The app updated to 3.20.1 today and now I can’t start it. It says the version needs to be updated, but it has been already. Restarting the device or reinstalling the app didn’t help.

I think it’s because iOS updated last night and there must be some feature in it that app suppliers had to comply with and that the JustinGuitar app doesn’t yet. Best guess.

The app was still working for me this morning and stopped working after it updated. I updated iPadOS only after that in an attempt to solve the problem.

I have the same problem on my iPad Pro, only started using the app yesterday and it was fine, but today says version not supported and needs update. App and os both seem to be latest version.

The same problem, solved by reinstalling the app.

Thanks for mentioning! I tried reinstalling before and it didn’t change anything. After reinstalling for a second time just now, I could get the app to load.

Apple has taken a longer time than normal to accept the new update and the current version was killed before the new update took place.

We’ve overridden the killswitch on the current version so if you close the app and reopen it you will now be able to use the current version whilst we await the new version. Please note you will need to force close the app on your device, you can do this by following the below advice.

To force quit an app on an iPhone or iPad, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the app switcher, then swipe up on the app you want to close.
