App verses the web

I use almost exclusively the Justin Guitar app over his web pages. I’m now starting Grade 3 and in those modules I hear Justin reference his web pages more. I wonder if I should start using both? Any advice or thoughts?

There is more information on the webste with wriien text and added download resources on some lessons but no playalong tracks. Plus the website is 99% free

Steve, I concur with Stitch. I consider the primary function of the app to enable the learning of songs, playing along with the originals that you can develop from simple one down strum per bar through to more original rythm patterns.

The primary means to study the learning material is the website. I would view the app lessons as a backup and alternative when not convenient to use the website.

I prefer to use the website via my laptop rather than the app for learning.

I’ve only had the app a few weeks but I don’t find it as user-friendly for working my way through modules as the website. I don’t dislike it, it’s useful to have if I am away from my laptop and I want to study a topic.

I signed up for his Songs on the website, where you can have access to chords and tabs.

I also find his You Tube channels useful especially the JustinGuitar Songs.

As you transition, there is a practice scheduler you may find useful.

Remember to log into the web site. Once you log in, go to your dashboard (click on your login name in the upper right) and you will find quick links on the left side to the stuff you will often need.

When I moved from the app to the web, I used it quite a bit.
