Here’s a short 3 chorus jam over a funky Blues in C.
Came up with a motif, and just worked it here and there, fluffs included.
Great little track to generate some ideas, and great fun to play over.
Cheers, Shane

Wow Shane,
That was a very delicious jam…
It’s something I still have to work on a lot and let’s see what next year or so will bring…
I put it on again while typing and it is immediately recognizable, that’s good
Greetings
Nice! Great tone and phrasing. A very successful jam, to be sure…
“Stormy Mondayesque”
Here is a “Stormy Mondayesque” jam; the arrangement complements of the great Keith Wyatt.
A fun one to learn and play, and a good teacher; after learning the iconic rhythm part some time ago.
Cheers, Shane
Shane
Well played on both pieces: there’s a lovely feel and groove to your playing and your guitar sounds great too. Very enjoyable.
Brian
Very smooth Shane, thoughtful and tasteful playing.
An inspiration.
Keep on keeping on, I like it, a lot (though the ending was a bit abrupt )
Great playing Shane. I love how you slowly develop and build your improvs / arrangements. Very tasteful.
Very relaxed, very polished. Nicely done, Shane.
Pleasure to listen to thanks
I just re-watched Justin’s lesson on Threads before coming to this, so I looked at your playing through that lens… Not sure if that was an influence for you, but you pretty much covered the topic. Nice.
Thanks for listen, and the kind words Wayne.
Yes, I would have done those particular lessons at some point. As with most of Justins stuff, its sage advice.
Cheers, Shane.
Great playing Shane,
when I was listening to this I was thinking about “being happy in summer day around water”. Really nice.
Thanks for sharing.
Some nice licks and playing on both of those Shane, thanks for sharing.
Really good playing on both pieces, I liked your phrasing and guitar tones, very tasteful! You’ve certainly got the feel for this style of music, very well done!
Very nice phrasing work Shane. Stormy Monday isn’t the easiest set of changes to play over, but you nailed it!
Both were fabulous, Shane. Love the tone and your play that has such great flow and feel
Tasty little meander Shane well done sir !
Another enjoyable ramble sir. This past week I have been focusing on the chord prog for the Allman’s version, with a plan to add some fills etc once consolidated. There be some ammunition in your little jaunt, so will have a closer looks at this one down the line. Some nice phrasing for sure capturing that Stormy vibe. Chapeau !
Thank you all for taking the time to listen, and for the kind words.
Might be time for me to get the microphone and the vocal chords out again, for a few tunes I have in waiting. Its been a while.
Cheers, Shane
