If anyone is interested, Ardour 8.0 has just been released.
Ardour is an Open Source DAW application that runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux.
The latest version includes improved tempo mapping, arrangement markers for improved project management and 3-point editing, Launchpad Pro support, especially for the Ableton-style clip/cue capability that was introduced in Ardour 7, and a bunch of other improvements:
