I haven’t seen the video, So @raanga welcome here and i can`t help you futher…

but you use the top string with the palm of your hand ,…other ways of muting are discussed here,…Palmmuting videos can also be found,… it’s mainly a matter of practicing a lot and finding the ‘sweetmutings spot’
