Hi Justin Community. I’m a newby on the Community. I’ve begun a conversation and want to attach an audio file to a response. Can’t figure out how. I need some help (or a full tutorial!) Thx.
Hi Gary, Don’t know if I can help, but I’ll try.
Sounds like you have a audio file? I assume like a mp3.
Assuming so, you need to know where that file is in your computer.
Then you need a audio program. I use google drive, but there are others, sound cloud I think is another.
So to get my audio to the www. I open my google drive. Find where to upload a file to google drive is. click upload file will then open a box to find your file in your computer. Highlight that file, and click upload. When the upload is complete, the audio file should appear in your list of audio files in google drive. I right click the file and select share. I think the options are restricted and only people with the link can open file. Select only people with the link. This will give your a url address where you can copy the link, then paste it into whatever forum your wanting to post it in.
Hopefully after all that. The person on the other side and click the link, it opens your audio in google drive with a play button. Click play and hopefully listen to your file.

Hey Happycat, thanks so much for the tip. Yes, i had the audio file already on Google drive, but wasnt familiar with the link sharing process. Your help got me through it in one try! Bravo!
