Aug 2026, Jumper (Third Eye Blind) Under The Bridge, Somethings Got Ahold Of Me, All The Small Things

My own take of Jumper, I think i slowed it down kinda, still not perfect but it was fun!! Love this song!! Vocals are a little tricky in this one!

Just wanted to do my fav RHCP song! Not perfect by any means but was fun!

So i stumbled upon this artists song and man omg its so good!!! If you havnt heard it yall should check it out!!

I def dont do it justice like she does but I figured i would do a little demo of it, I do do it a little different. None the less its one of my new fav songs! Lemme know if yall think i should finish it!!

P.S Anyone ever heard of her (Alice Rose Lyn)? Is she A.I or real?

Starting the month off with a song i have never covered but love!

Hope yall enjoy!!

The info I could find on Alice Rose Lyn seems quite vague and contradictory: even on Bandcamp - a source for a lot of my music purchases - there’s mention of a real person and fictional, immersive content.

The ‘original’ song and video have strong echoes of AI: I listened to it before listening to your cover and I thought - and am almost certain - it is AI; but who knows? Regardless of its origins I didn’t like the original. So this is one of your covers that gets a thumbs-down from me.

Just curious what do yall think of my vocals in Under The Bridge? I know i could have done better toward the end, pretty tough!

Your guitar part on this song is pretty solid. Your singing in the lower sections is good: almost always bang on pitch, confident and pleasing for the listener. Your singing in the higher sections is less confident and sounds strained, c. 1:35 and repeated, c. 3:00, is quite strained, almost as if it’s too high.

Your singing technique is the problem in those sections. Try to really inflate your abdomen when you breathe in: this is called diaphragmatic breathing; when you breathe out to sing think of the air being pushed from low down in your body; this improves projection, pitch and persistence of what you sing (all the great opera singers do this, as do many of the great ‘pop’ singers). It’s a technique worth thinking about until it becomes habitual and sub-conscious. It gives you the breath control that allows for all sorts of vocal variations. You’ll improve you vocal range, quality and delivery.

Here endeth the lesson (many years ago I sang as a choirboy soprano and still remember most of what I learned from my music teachers: I no longer sing soprano!).
