thats the perfect melody for chilling while drinking a glass of wine
Such a nice rendition. I dig the harmonics. Looks like you are plucking the string with the hand you are doing the harmonics with? Thats cool. I think Justins lesson on the police song âCant stand losing youâ is the one that he shows this technique. Very very neat technique.
Thank you. Itâs called "artificial harmonics ".
This is so beautiful!
Hi Deborah @MacOneill this is such a lovely thread! Here is my contribution - an old German Christmas song, with its own Wikipedia page: Leise rieselt der Schnee - Wikipedia
Had to dust it off first and practise the Am to Dm change ⌠then had to sort out the dead batteries in my pickup ⌠but hey Christmas period runs till 6th of Jan, doesnât it?
What a beautiful song Molly. Really well played and sung.
Molly

So far nobody dared to do a Wham! cover
Ha! thatâs your challenge for the 2025 thread then
Hi Molly! A beautiful rendition of a traditional German song! I sang it every year together with my parents as a child. I guess, you are a native speaker ?
Thanks for posting!
Hi Tosh, thanks for posting! Nicely played and sung!
I learned this one too for this year, I love those Elvis tunes a lot!
Merry Christmas Tosh (spoken in an Elvis voice ).
Thank you Andrea! Yes, native speaker And similar memories of singing it every year with parents as a child
Why thank youâŚthank you very much, Gordon-also spoken in an Elvis voice)
Thanks Helen. Me too. Elvis had so many good ones - especially if youâre mainly a singer / strummer like me. Maybe Iâll have to do some more Elvis soon.
