I’ve had the good fortune of seeing him live in concert twice. Amazing performer.
I’ve seen him twice as well, unfortunately the second time was near the end, when he was having trouble remembering the songs and couldn’t really play anymore. It was sad that they were still running him out there.

That’s a bummer. First time I saw him was about 33 years ago at Festival Hall in Brisbane. Next time was a small number of years later, not sure how many, at the Entertainment Centre, northern suburbs of Brisbane. What struck me about that performance was he had 2 full drum kit drummers, and they were tight, you couldn’t tell it was 2 different drummers. He was in great form at both the concerts I went to.
