Short story long: my son-in-law is getting quite good at electric bass all by ear (and a little with bass tabs). I was telling him about Justin lessons Ive been using (specifically BLIM). He expressed interest. Does anyone out there know of bass lessons anything similar to Justin?

I just asked Claude (AI) this and got a good response. I’m not posting it here, because we don’t want to establish any sort of precedent for that. I suggest you ask Claude or one of its counterparts.

Incidentally, Claude’s first suggestion was Scott’s Bass Lessons. I would endorse that, too, for what it’s worth.

Edit:

If it’s blues he wants then there is a recorded blues course on Bass Lab plus. I think James Eager is just about to start or has recently started a BLIM equivalent.

This is easy … bassbuzz. Com. It’s what I used about 4 years ago. His begginer to badass course is well thought out and it’s a great an easy course. I highly recommend it. His lessons are funny and are easy to grasp and include all the course work. It’s actually set up better than Justin’s, as it’s all in the web portal. Where here at Justin you have the web portal and app…
