Hey everyone! I’m working my way through Grade 2 and just hit Module 13 (Blues). This is my attempt at Justin’s beginner blues solo from the lesson. Definitely not perfect, but I wanted to share something I’m learning rather than another song cover. Just practicing, having fun, and moving forward through the course. Any feedback welcome!
Your making good progress, nice clear sounding playing, timing generally was good but a hiccup in the solo. If there is a backing track try playing along to that, or with Justin.
I had a look at the lesson if you have Guitar Pro then there is a gp file you can download that you can play along to with full band, you could create your own and add to it.

Absolutely, David. As someone who completed the entire original Beginner’s Course several years ago, I’m really enjoying going back through the new course. I’m working through it step-by-step, including the Songs App, and I’m on Module 13 now—but moving through each module fairly quickly. There’s a lot of great content in the updated course, so I’m actually having fun learning new things I didn’t expect.
I actually took a couple of Marty Schwartz’s blues courses a few years back so none of this is new to me, but it’s been a while so my video was pretty unpolished. Haha. And if course, each teacher has their own style and focus of emphasis.
