I’ve been using the app on a Chromebook for a few months. I rarely make it through a song as the app constantly crashes mid song. I’ve tried removing and reloading but thats not much help. I don’t want to use a phone as I prefer a larger screen. What is the best large screen device that works with the app?
I’m not sure Brian but I can say that the Amazon Fire tablet I own doesn’t work with Justin’s app. I tried multiple approaches to get it to download & work with no success. I hope you get a good answer… I will be watching this thread!!!

Anything with iOS (iPad) or Android as operating system would do. Chromebook and Amazon Fire both have proprietary operating systems, which the app isn’t optimised for.

I have the app running on a large screen pc windows 11 (38 inch) by using Bluestacks app player as android emulator—works great
The App always ran well on my old 2016 iPad Pro.
It also seems to run well on my girlfriend’s 2022 M2 based MacBook.
Whoaaa – didn’t know that I could do that, run it on my Mac Air!
NEVER crashes on my iPad 9th gen, running iOS 18.5
That said, there is more content (including module notes) on the WebApp.
The Justin App has one thing the web course does not: A Karaoke option that allows you to play with backing tracks, lyrics, and when to play the chord, with adjustable playback speed.
I use JustinApp primarily for the Karaoke option, the Web version for classes/discussions of the class. For songs not in the JustinApp library (of 1,400 songs) , I use a $15 app, LinkeSOFT SongBook Songs and Chords , load the chords from various online sources, and link to an MP3 in my library. It too has variable playback speed (a metronome option too, but no option about what kind of backing track like the JustinApp has).
Tally ho!

FYI: In addition to my iPad, I installed it on my Mac Air, M2 processor, Sequoia 15.5, JustinGuitar App Version 3.21.1 (9410) and it is stable for me as of 12-Jul-2025
Just a point for anyone who hasn’t seen other references to installing the (iOS) app on a Mac: This only works for Macs with an M-type processor (aka “Apple silicone”). It does not work on older Macs with Intel processors.
