As they always are, this is still a work in progress, but probably the best I’ve played it so far, so I decided to share. The rhythm is pretty good, and I got the vocals as good as I can do. There’s a few hiccups towards the end, but I always find that the trickiest part of the song. The harmonica overwhelms the outro a bit and did not nail all of the notes in the outro as well. If you have any tips as far as guitar and amp set up go I’d appreciate it. I don’t really know how to set up electric guitar for specific sounds, I just kind of wing it or try to see how Justin has his set up… Anyway, hope you enjoy, this is the toughest song I’ve recorded to date.
Nice playing mate. Great song choice too!
Thanks for giving a listen Robert!
Benji
A fine performance of an intricate song.

Not the easiest songs to tackle and you’re building a solid piece. A lot to get to grips with; tough vocal; harmonica part; a far from simple strumming pattern and single not playing. I think you can look forward to making this really good.
Nice. I was so happy when I played my first pearl Jam song. So Iconic, this song is really amazing and the last part leading up to (why cant it be mine) is really not easy to do right with the dynamics. But you did good. Love the harp also.

Thanks Brian! Yeah, I think it’s a tricky one due to the rhythm and switching from strumming to picking.
Thank Willsie, I’ll keep at it. I think playing along with the recording will be helpful. Just going to take a little break from it…
Thanks for giving a listen Ontime! Yeah, I’ll keep at it.
Good job, man on a difficult song - the rhythm and vocals aren’t easy. Nice job.
Hi
Vocal has a very nice quality to it - raw like the original.
Nice playing of a quality tune.

Thanks for giving a listen CB! ![]()
Thanks Digger, one of my favorites and really glad Justin taught it. It was a lot of work and has a ways to go, but that’s the best I’ve done with it yet. Lots of fun with the electric. ![]()
