I am accidently hitting the thinnest string while doing the index finger down strum in the intro. Can anyone please guide whether I have to practice enough to hit only th 3rd and 2nd string or am i supposed to muite the thinnest 1st string ?
Is your string 1 ringing? With the position of fretting hand, I am surprised it is not muted already most of the time. I never played this song, but from Justinâs video, it looks to me he is cleanly strumming only 3rd and 2nd strings. But he might be also muting string 1, just in case. I would practice both muting and strumming only 2 strings and wouldnât bother too much if I canât do it immediately. Dexterity will come with practice.
