Just wanted to say that the lesson on Licks Linking Patterns 1 & 2 was a real game changer for me. It freed me up from going up and down in Pattern 1 or 2 and enabled my playing to become more musical and expressive. Also, the exercises going to the same note on other strings develop the neck knowledge. Excellent stuff!

In lick 4, what changes to get the “slinky” sound when Justin speeds it up?
This lesson and the previous lesson on licks are really helpful to learn. It’s definitely a plus if you know where the notes are on the fretboard, but if you don’t these two lessons will give you that information, all you have to do is work it out your self.
