Breathe (In the Air) - Beginner Cover

Hi guys!

Here’s my beginner cover of Pink Floyd’s Breathe (In the Air) (or at least a part of it )

Here: Vocaroo | Online voice recorder

This song is one of the most important things in my life as I discovered it (alongside the rest of The Dark Side Of The Moon album) during a period that changed my life massively, and it’s a HUGE deal for me that I can play it.

I followed Justin’s lesson and there’s still work to be done and I’m still practicing it, but I love recording, listening and sharing progress snippets, because it’s massively rewarding to go back and hear the improvement.

I love how simple yet effective the guitar part of that song is!

It’s recorded in Eb tuning, as I play I usually play in that tuning :slightly_smiling_face:

Wow great job. Thats sounded really good with the good effects too. That ending progression sounds really nice.

Well done Teodor

Thank you!

Its an auto-uni-vibe from a Boss Katana 3, set on very slow😃

Teodor

Very well played: good timing and excellent control of changes between strumming and picking.

Nicely done indeed–keep it up Teodor!

That was indeed a seminal album for so many of us.
I’ll listen you to play–and look forward to hearing more.

Thank you, Brian!

Thanks Bruce!

Even tho my playing style is quite different and more rhythm oriented, David Gilmour is the single reason why I started playing guitar last summer.

Good work Teodor, I’m a Floyd fan and this is a great track. Good work mate keep,it up👍

Well done, Teodor!

Beautifully played Teodor! You’ve reached that level after just one year of playing? That’s amazing. You’ve totally captured the feel and the timing of that tune.

I remember vividly when I first heard it - I bought the record on the recommendation of people at school, and heard those opening bars for the first time…

Very enjoyable Teodor. Loved the tone and the jangly bits.
