Or vice versa…
Played my tele at a classical guitar camp
Very cool @Alexeyd . Nice clean Jazz sound. A surprisingly versatile guitar the Tele; Nashville pros “favourite thing”.
Fabulous, Alexey. Loved the tone and the arrangement.
For interest sake, how did you create the tone?
And curious about your right-hand position. For most of the piece there seems to be quite a bend at the wrist? Naturally I’d think a straighter wrist would be healthier. Do you notice any strain?
Lastly, had to laugh at your comment on another topic about being kicked out for being too good I know labelling proficiency is a fools game and even the legends will see they have never stopped learning. That said, you have reached levels that most of us here can just enjoy with awe and wonder . . . . which I mean in the nicest sincerest possible way.
I hope you will contnue to join OMs and share AVOYPs, it is a musical treat.
Ban him from the forum immediately
Very smooth, Alexey. I am a bit disappointed that you didn’t include a single string bend.
Is he still in here, after the initial “critique” a few months back … … good on you, Alexey
As ever, another thoroughly enjoyable listen from your wide and expanding repertoire …
Yeah, and a cruncier tone would be nice too.
Ah I love ot hear you play. <3
This tune sounds like a proud little kitty cat, tip-toe’ing it’s way through a street sthat drying up after a brief stint of rain. While the sun gradually claims back its place in the sky on a Sunday afternoon, I’m free of worries and granted permission to forget everything else.
Still I feel to sound as lyrical as you just did mate, marvellous!
Well deserved round of applause at the end, I agree!
Thank you
Neck pickup, Spark Mini with acoustic settings. That’s it.
Perhaps with a I, IV, V chord sequence and a bit of more minor pentatonic?
Thanks. There are two curls in the end
Thank you
And some singing, right?
Very romantic
Thank you
Those acoustic settings work well and the slimline tele sounds so good, excellent pickup.
Sounds great as always Alexey!
Lovely playing, lovely tone!
I’m curious…are you getting any pushback for playing classical music on an electric guitar? From the group leaders, or the other participants?
I ask because I’ve sometimes seen classical players who are very protective of the “one correct way” of playing guitar.
Personally, “if it sounds good, it is good” is my guiding maxim…and that’s definitely the case here!
Wonderfully played as always Alexey! Is there any way to do this without thousands of hours of practice?
