There’s so much to remember in these pieces, so impressive; I still get things wrong I’ve been playing for decades. I watched the Tommy Emmanuel interview with Rick Beato - his secret is constant practicing…I just don’t have the stamina.
Joe Robinson said that Tommy goes to the hotel after a few hours concert and practices there, with a metronome…
Yes I heard that too. But there again Rory Gallagher, after a few hours concert, went to the studio and recorded an album. I don’t know whether he practiced though. Anyway that’s my excuse for not practicing.
