Hiya, the tab on the website via JustinGuitar Tabs currently has the incorrect version that Justin mentions in the video where the song switches to E7 in the chorus instead of staying on E7sus4 for two bars. Is it possible to change this on the website?
Great lesson, but I have a hard time matching the strumming pattern with line two - “I’ve been for walk…”
I can make et work nicely for lines 1,3 &4. Anyone else having trouble? Are the bar-lines correct?
Same problem here, I get the idea that I am to early or to late and don’t have the right strumming pattern in my head for the 2nd line. Line 1,3 and 4 are fine. Will struggle on (glad that I am not the only one having troubles with this)
When do the chord changes happen? I’ve been playing it and it doesn’t sound right. I’ve tried watching Justin in slow motion and note down when he changes chord but I’m getting angry. Can someone write out when the changes happen? Ice been playing guitar for 20 years and have gotten nowhere.
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 +
D D DU U D DUD
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 +
D D DU U D DUD
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 +
D D DU U D DUD
I’ve been playing
Am G F G
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 +
D D DU U D DUD
E7sus4 E7 F
1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 +
D D DU U D DUD
is that right?
Hey @californianightmare yeah it’s wierd because like he said no hit on the 1. If you write out the notation for the notes and then the strum pattern there is a tie from the and after 4 to the 1 so this means tue chord change is pushed forward early. I wrote it out.
Also Justin describes it and plays the 2 instances in the video at about 11:35 or so. Also remmever it happens on 2 different chords changes also.
1 the Am to the F
2 the E7sus4 to the E7
I hope this helped some.
Good luck with the song. Keep at it, you can do it.
