Trying to learn songs and when I click to start the lesson I just get the attached screen. I’m signed into the website and into YouTube so I have no idea what it wants?

Hi Victoria, I have had that problem constantly in the last few months. I think it is due to something that YouTube put in place. I have done several things to get this to work, like clearing my view history and restarting my computer, but the best suggestion that I have gotten is to just click on the “Watch on YouTube” button in the lower left part of the screen. That takes you directly to the YouTube video and doesn’t have any problems.

Hi Victoria, this is indeed a problem caused by youtube and has been discussed several times on this forum. Rumours are enabling cross site tracking might solve it, but that means giving up part of your privacy. And if that does solve the issue, It seems youtube doesn’t like high privacy settings and tries to force users to give it up.
As Steve has already said, you can click on the youtube button in the lower left hand corner of the video window. You can also click on the video title at the top of the video window (not above the video, on the window itself). This will take you directly to the video on youtube where it will play just fine.

Thanks all. I’ll stick with YouTube then, I thought the chapter headings would be useful for reviewing the difficult bits!
Victoria, if you start on the website and go to YouTube but selecting the button or the window title, you are still able to see the section titles. You can drag the slider and see the different sections and the time, so you can go back to the beginning of tricky sections.
