Can't stop - RHCP - first attempt

Recorded this evening just after learning this with lesson from Justin
Recording is a great say to see & hear where the issues actually are to focus work for next session.

Nice fret hand finger control and very smooth. I love RHCPs, John Frusciante is one of my favorite guitarists too. Great video, thanks for sharing ludo.

Edit, fixed your name

Something i’ve noticed and have gotten a lot of (deserved) flak for, from my teacher.
The movement of the picking hand. This has to move in a up down movement, according to the beat in the song.
On the one = down, on the “and” = up.
Take a look at the sheet music for this song and work out the "movements. "
This will really help you in the future, when you start playing faster songs / solo’s.

Hi @GrytPipe
Interesting. I’m actually following the strumming pattern shared by Justin in his lesson
for the first riff down up up down etc
for the second it’mostly regular but the G string is mainly with up

Hey @Ontime
you mean name? cause we can’t change username

Ok ok.
I haven’t seen the sheet music yet, so you could be spot on with your picking.

I’ll see if i can find it.

That was really good. The guitar has amazing tone and as was mentioned, you finger control was very good. The little bends were spot on as well.

thank you very much @frito

It sounds very good for a first recording. As others have said, you show good finger control and playing close to the rhythm. You have a solid base for mastering this song.

Nice!!! You are in the same place that I am trying to duplicate Justin’s lesson of the Chili Pepper’s lick from “Snow”!!
