I have a Zoom G1XFour multi-effects pedal and was wondering if its possible to take it in the check-in/cabin luggage of an International flight ?If yes, which one would you advise to take it in, cabin or check it in ?
It doesn’t have any batteries installed and looks like this:
It can go in either. I would check it unless you are short of space or weight allowance.
I’ve taken multifx pedals and other pedals in my checked luggage on International flights on several occasions. It’s never been a problem.

I dont have much experiences with flight, because I traveled only once by plane, but I asked ChatGPT, so it maybe help you too. 
Yes there shouldn’t be any problem with that either in checked-in or carry-on luggage. I have the same one but without the expression pedal and find it very easy to transport as it’s very light. I’m planning to take mine to the Uk on Friday by plane.
