CC Rider

Hello everyone, I’ve recently joined the community. Have been learning for about two years or so and really like country blues. Here’s my attempt at a version of CC Rider arranged by DaddyStovePipe. Please forgive the intermittent background voices and the poor quality audio. If course any suggestions would be more than welcome.

I liked that very much David. Well executed pull offs, slides and bends in a nice blues piece.
The accompanying speaking voice was a bit distracting.

Sounded fabulous, well done, David, and welcome!!

Daddystovepipe is a legend and he makes things look so easy! Your version is coming along nicely! But watch your rhythm - the thumbs of the old country blues players were like machines, so solid. Practise a bit with a metronome, at a slower speed than your video, to find the parts (not many, but I noticed them) where your thumb is a bit wobbly and work on getting those bars solid - it will get you closer to the country blues sound.

Thank you for your advice. Very welcome and I agree with you. The thumb is the all important!

Well, that’s a very productive two years you had David - it sounds great! Some good advice from Molly, but still, it was very enjoyable.
