Chainsaw Guitar Stand

So, I do a lot of tree felling as part of my job and have made myself a really rustic stand for my guitar out of an old stump. It’s even got a pick holder! Luxury. What do you think?

I am thinking that might damage a guitar with scratches!

Love it!!!

That’s really creative. I don’t think I’d put one of my nitro finished guitars on it but any guitar with a poly finish probably would be fine.

Very rustic! I would still put felt on where the guitar touches.

I can almost feel the stubbed toes from here. :scream:

But still, I like it!
I’ll also 2nd the idea of a bit of felt or cork.

I love this stand.
I have to agree with @Jwaters on the scratches, but you can simply stick some very sleek rubber/plastic stick-ons to protect your guitar.
Looks great!

Yep. You are right J. Still drying out at the moment. Gonna pop some cork on it to protect the guitar from scratches. Cheers Kev

Yep, already stubbed toe on it Richard. It’s drying by radiator at the moment. Once it’s dry will move into a corner. Kev

WOW :exclamation:Looks great :exclamation: Sure you wouldn’t be better include some kind of coussins… not to scratch the guitar  Maybe I’m simply to anxious… :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :upside_down_face: Bravo again :exclamation:
