A recent heard this acoustic song “Changes” by Long Horn Slim and had to play it
Nice to meet you Danny, and I really enjoyed that well done cheers Hec
Very nicely played and sung, Danny. Enjoyed it a lot.
Danny
Super performance. Your managing well with quite a complex strumming pattern (with the odd picked phrase) and varying dynamics: you’re occassionally losing control of the tempo. Well played.
Brian
You’re right about the tempo
Only just learned it and played this maybe 1/2 dozen times before recording so it’s not smooth. Or maybe I wasn’t tapping my foot enough?!
Thanks
Really enjoyed it. The guitar has a great sound, chord changes clean, and the strumming was interesting. It also really suited your voice.
Thanks for sharing.
Really enjoyed that Dan- You’re a great performer
Didn’t know the song, but it got me thinking…
First thing that came to mind was Paul Simon’s lyric ‘I am a rock… A fortress deep and mighty…’ This dinosaur is looking for the solid footholds these days
Look forward to seeing you at Saturday morning’s OM (or whatever day/time that is for you )
Great performance, Danny.
Some really cool parts in that song, Danny. Some of the instrumental bits felt a bit awkward to me. Is it usually played with other instruments or solo?
Likewise Hec
That’s a cool unique name
Thanks for listening
Danny
Thanks for losing
Be well
Danny
Happy you like Constance
Danny
Thanks for hearing it Elixir
Danny
Yes it’s a timeless theme of an inner struggle
Danny
Yes usually. I’d need to play it 10-20 times more to polish. I just was moved to get it out the door
Thanks for a good critique
Very helpful
Danny
