Hey guys so i know this isnt perfect and yes i know how to play it perfectly the normal way… This is just my take on it!
I tried to build the song up as the song went on!! With bass, electric, piano, drums ect!
I tried to mix this the best i could… Still practicing that lol.
They decided not to do our original song Knock It Out Of The Park sadly… I guess due to having to be able to teach the kids as fast as possible… Plus they probably know it already!!
I feel like the song def gets better as it goes with the added instruments I added!!!
Just rehearsing it for whenever I have to play while they sing!
This is just my take, ill be playing it just like the original for the children! It will be in the original key and played just like the song. Shouldnt be to bad! But yeah i agree! Knock it out of the park would have been a better choice! I mean it would have been easier to sing as well!
This song count on me is ALOT harder to sing than Knock It Out Of The Park, i dont understand why they went with this song instead of Knock! I guess because the kids already know it and can sing it already! Not sure lol.
Yeah, I loved that first (Knock it out the park) one too!
Didn’t know this one, but like it. But what insztument would you play on stage with the kids? Acoustic guitar? Maybe you could work on how to progress over the song with just your guitar! And will the kids sing alone or you too?
I agree with @sairfingers on this one. The reverb is way over the top. If you want to be taken seriously as a musician you need to tone that down , sorry, just being honest.
I know a lot of hard work went into this & great job on all the instrumentation!
Ill be either playing the acoustic or electric and ill be playing the song just like the original, not like this! However… Not sure what else to add with the electric yet as the acoustic will probably be playing the rhythm
Maybe I’m an outsider here, but I like it, even with the delay.
The mix could be cleaner, and bass is usually more put into the center, but well, I still like it. Your version sounds different, but I like that still!
My main critique is that I really heard you sing more well tuned in the recent months on quite a few songs. I wouldn’t state this if I feared you couldn’t do better, but you already did quite a bit better than here.
