Chord detection issues

The app is struggling to recognize certain chords, notably Am and D. When doing one-minute changes, I have to strum those chords repeatedly for sometimes several seconds before the app recognizes them, while I barely have to place my fingers on the strings for other (e.g., E/Em). This makes successfully completing one-minute changes next to impossible.

Hi Brooke and nice to meet you in the community I have had this problem before and I am sure it has been posted in the community if you search it might bring it up cheers HEC

Hi Brooke,
I’ve found that on 1minute chord changes, I just turn chord detection off and count the changes myself.

As a reward for doing it myself I consider it yet another “thread” my brain must pay attention to, and so it makes my practicing more fruitful.

Cheers,
Bruce

Hi Everyone,

We are actively looking into improving the chord detection in the app and we hope that we can release an improved version of this soon
