Also for the feedback, I think you could work on switching from your chords to the f chord. There’s some pausing in between. Hope this Helps!

Thanks for the advice. I noticed that while I was playing. The problem was I was so tense and the hand was full of sweat, also the action was a bit too high at higher frets (fret 6 and onwards, possibly because I adjusted the truss rod myself months ago). I don’t have such problem for f chord at lower frets though. Will take the guitar for a proper setup this weekend.

You could try as Justin says, just practice switching chords to the f-chord and then maybe it will get better. Also something that works for a lot of people is just slowing it down and making sure there’s no pauses. Hope this Helps!

Also with the F chord, making sure you get those thinnest 2 strings ringing out. Those are very important. If you can’t, try moving your hand to a different position. If you want help, you can go to this video:

Like I said switching to and from f chord (also B) is not a problem for me normally, all strings ring cleanly most of the time. I nailed that 6 months ago. Problem is I am always being so tense when being recorded (in fact my fret hand was shaking when playing), and kept starring at the metronome. Also the action of my acoustic is too high as I messed up the truss rod previously.
Things would be better if I can get used to play relaxedly while being recorded.

You two sound great! I love your reaction at the end, like you just accomplished something awesome. Chords sounded great. Reading the comments, I agree, adding a camera certainly changes things. I’ve made a point to practice that lately.

Indeed. The camera is a killer. I always felt exhausted after the recordings. The self-induced pressure, keep checking the metronome….all brings you down. The more I play the more I admire the professional performers.
