(cover) G1 Consolidation song #4. John Lennon - Working Class Hero

Hello me peeps!! Song #4 for the G1 consolidation project. I have at least a dozen songs I can play by heart now and several in the makings. But the whole process is amazingly fun! I am waaaaaaay in behind on posting as I’m a grade 3-4 student according to JG. As always critical constructive criticism always welcome. I explain the rest in the video like I like to do!!

Rock on!

Love that tune. Nice strumming, and looked like your hand control was on. Thanks for sharing.

Very good Darren.

I have nothing negative to say about that.
Your timing seems good, you played it from start to finish. You sang and played at the same time.
As for any mistake you think ya may have had. I didn’t notice, which to me means ya covered your mistake by keeping it going, right past the mistake. That’s not easy to do.
Your levels between guitar and vocals was good too.

Ya done a very good rendition there I think.

So keep on jammin man!

Ahhhh that’s music to my ears! It took some practice with my rhythm to keep going. But if I can do it, all of ya’s can do it! Lol . It was a transition A, G, D, A on the second round of "A working class hero is something to be. " Totally playing the wrong chords in the wrong spot, it’s where I was smiling alot because I knew iI just messed up. I always figured that was a giveaway. Perhaps not. Thank you for your kind words!

Thank you very much my man!! Not only are these posted so I can track my progress, it’s also a way to say"hey, I’m still at it!!". I was reviewing this video again (checking my rhythm) and noticed that me timing did go off a bit in spots. But I seemed to got back on board. I’m now almost sure I played this a lil fast. If I never found JG and this awesome play it forward community. This would never have been achieved!!! So much thanks to all!!

Well thank you!! When I hit them I hit them. However I am critical on myself and there where a few spots where I missed the hammer on. 80 percent where hit. They say the artist is their own worse critic! But thank you!! These words are encouraging!!

Great rythym and the hammer ons were spot on. A few tuning issues with the vocal but I’m sure you could work on that.
Well done.
