Hello Dan, it may have been a long gap but it’s never too late to play and enjoy making music. Stiff fingers be damned! You can do it. Have you resumed and gone back to the beginning to start learning as a beginner? That will help you develop and maintain good habits and style, including fluid and smooth strumming and rhythm.
