Once again, let me say how sincerely touched I am by all the well wishes and care.
I have spoken often in my Learning Log about how much this Community means to me, how much more important it is than the specific shared pursuit of learning to play. For me there is so much more to the learning to play than just the direct and obvious. Learning to play and the things I have accomplished along the way have had a more profound benefit on my life than simply the act of playing. And the interactions withing the Community alse go deeper than just answering questions, offering feedback to aid learning, and most importantly simply acknowledging and encouraging fellow members.
This topic being an example, an example that is not isolated or an exception, as I can think of many.
Anyhow, I can hear Brian and Gordon beginning to warm up a witty reply, as the length of those post grows …
Things are going well with my recovery and today for the first time I felt inclined to sit at the PC and do something more engaging than just watching YT or Netflix.
I will still take it easy and may just cherry pick AVOYP for now. And it feels great to be able to do that.
Once again, bless you all, it meant a great deal to check in on this topic and to feel all the emotions of belonging and being a part of the JG Family.
