A classical guitar lesson, thatās a welcoming gift for our new moderator @Silvia80
Looking forward to see your AVYP. Hihihih !
Mathieu Iām already into the obsessive/compulsive listening phase!!!..from this to starting practicing to an AVOYPā¦wellā¦letās see! Itās Grade 6! There are so many skills this piece will help me to develop, I might be happy to just enjoy the practice and maybe not be able to nail it so soon ![]()
At the end of the video, Justin mentions a new ārock immersionā course?
Iām linking here my Learning Diaryā¦as Justin says itās not crazy difficult, especially by going slow I might even nail it in the end!
ā¦maybe!
Justin - this is one of my favorite lessons that you have done. Itās a challenge but a very enjoyable one. One note - I believe his name is spelled wrong in the lesson. I believe it is Randy Rhoads. Thank you for a great lesson!
This was a great lesson. Was just a bit above my grade level. My fingers couldnāt do the chords well.
The last bar: Justin, I actually didnāt analyse your attempts as the fingerings were difficult even for you⦠and my ear isnāt fine enough to determine what is going on in the original recordingā¦
ā¦To my fingers the simplest solution is to slide to the G on the 8th fret on the 2nd string since my pinky is already there on the 7th fret: itās easier to me to make it more Legato instead of getting back to the G on the 3rd fret first string.
Bar 32 on the original recording has an overdub, apparently: 1 guitar plays the e string and the other the b stringā¦. According to Carl Brown, guitar365.com and the Hal Leonard āplay it like it isā book for the Blizzard of Ozz Album. Could that be the explanation??
