A classical guitar lesson, that’s a welcoming gift for our new moderator @Silvia80
Looking forward to see your AVYP. Hihihih !
Mathieu I’m already into the obsessive/compulsive listening phase!!!..from this to starting practicing to an AVOYP…well…let’s see! It’s Grade 6! There are so many skills this piece will help me to develop, I might be happy to just enjoy the practice and maybe not be able to nail it so soon ![]()
At the end of the video, Justin mentions a new “rock immersion” course?
I’m linking here my Learning Diary…as Justin says it’s not crazy difficult, especially by going slow I might even nail it in the end!
…maybe!
Justin - this is one of my favorite lessons that you have done. It’s a challenge but a very enjoyable one. One note - I believe his name is spelled wrong in the lesson. I believe it is Randy Rhoads. Thank you for a great lesson!
This was a great lesson. Was just a bit above my grade level. My fingers couldn’t do the chords well.
The last bar: Justin, I actually didn’t analyse your attempts as the fingerings were difficult even for you… and my ear isn’t fine enough to determine what is going on in the original recording…
…To my fingers the simplest solution is to slide to the G on the 8th fret on the 2nd string since my pinky is already there on the 7th fret: it’s easier to me to make it more Legato instead of getting back to the G on the 3rd fret first string.
