The acoustic fingerpicking blues song that gave me the “Need” to learn the guitar when I heard Doc Watson …
Sounds awesome, congrats on your smooth fingerpicking technique.
Great stuff. Congratulations
Paul

Thank you all for your positive feedback ! To me Playing the guitar & singing is a little bit like cooking : when you cook yourself, you always find that there is something missing or something too much, even if your guests tell you that it’s excellent
. But at the end of the day, the most important is that I enjoyed cooking and sharing the result with friends … I still have to learn myself how to better really “accept” their positive feedback (I hope you understand the idea behind …) for what they are : it seems pleasant to eat / to listen to :). So it helps me to become a more confidfdent cook / player ![]()
You’re quite right at most points and I love that ‘cooking’ analogy
However in music it can be different, and I have the best example in my own recordings. The author very often isn’t completely unbiased: I sometimes get too easily carried away by the sound I obtained while, especially in my ‘originals’, I tend not to pay sufficient attention to correct track mixing or phrasing in my soloing. This has been pointed out to me by some of our friends here (that means their feedback was not entirely positive), for which I’m truly grateful, as it helps me to eliminate those shortcomings in my future recordings. (‘Hey, cook, not enough spices in this dish, and the soup was just a tad too salty!’) ![]()
Very nice. Great job.
We are in line ! And I love your conclusion ![]()
