How do you know how many ms the time is on when you only have a turning knob?
My pedal has three knobs; time, echo, and feedback
I have very little experience with this, but one thing that occurs to me is you can calculate it based on BPM.
60 BPM = 1 Beat per second = 1000 milliseconds between each quarter note in the measure
So if you are getting repeats on the beat, and on the 8th notes between the beats, you would know your delay is set to 500 milliseconds. Repeats on the 16ths means 250 milliseconds.
I suspect that if you have a pedal with no tap tempo or millisecond delay entry…you are going to have to do it all by ear anyway.
