Did I miss getting the included strumming course?

Right after subscribing to the the Lessons & Songs App, I got some kind of pop-up message about a strumming course. Unfortunately, this message popped up right as I was trying to go somewhere else in the app and the message got dismissed immediately.

So, I searched the forum and found messages (including this official one) indicating that the annual subscription should include a strumming course.

However, the only strumming course I can find in the app asks me to pay for it. Was the pop-up message supposed to grant me access to this course? If yes, can I still fix this somehow? Or was this just an ad and the course isn’t included?

Sounds like a call to @FannyJustinGuitar is needed. . . . . hold the line caller.

Do you happen to know if the strumming course (or part of it) is supposed to be included in the yearly app subscription?

Some posts here said that it is included, and one user mentioned a page comparing the different plans as the source, but I wasn’t able to find that page.

Hi! I believe it was part of a promotion earlier this year as a free add-on for new yearly subscriptions. However, I’m not sure if that offer is still active with their recent Black Friday promotions.

I can confirm that the strumming course definitely used to be included with yearly subscriptions.

If you saw the pop-up, I would assume that you are entitled to it. (BTW, pop-ups have been a problem on the app for some time… I never used to get new song notification pop-ups when I was using the app).

As someone noted above, contacting Musopia directly is your best bet to get this resolved.

On my app if you click on “Skill” on the home page it takes you to a free strumming course which is good.
I purchased the app earlier in the year

Thank you for your helpful comments, everyone! And thanks for confirming that the strumming course indeed used to be included.

Musopia just got back to me and told me that the strumming course is no longer included in the subscription and now has to be bought separately. I guess the pop-up was just an ad for that.
