Does anyone have experience with online guitar lessons?

Let’s see, you’ve reached an intermediate level using free online lessons, and you’re hesitant to use paid personal instruction online instruction… what am I missing?

His concern seemed pretty clear to me. He’s wondering just how well the instructor can actually see what the student is doing, given that we don’t have a professional video studio on our end.

Just this. To summarise my conclusions based on the advice from this thread:

There is a clear benfit from face to face lessons but it is probably more marginal than I thought it might be and is outweighed by -

a) The quality assurance I get from using a teacher endorsed by Justin Guitar
b) The familiarity of those teachers with the Justin Guitar method, and hence with my learning journey up to now.
c) The saving on travel time.

Anyway, on that basis I’ve booked some lesson now. If my conclusions turn out to be awry then I will report back.
