Just been practicing Grade one module 2 , strumming on the beat and chord changes for one. I started the chord changes for one at 70 BPM using a metronome and managed to get up to 100 BPM changing chords on the third beat. I did try doing it on the 4th beat but that was a beat too far. I have also tried the Peter Gunn theme, that’s really cool I really enjoy playing it.

And you’re already getting friendly with the metronome right away 
which probably helps with not disliking it as I do. I remember it as this unfriendly, loud, mechanical thing when I was learning piano as a child, and some of that still lingers. It does help that it’s now on my tablet, and it sounds different as well, but I still forget it exists for long periods of time, and have to program little reminders into my calendar to use it now and then.

I forgot to say,I like all kinds of music from classic to pop. The only music I’m not into is heavy metal.
