I use this on my Les Paul. seems to work well.
Think my Luthier sold his soul. He not only plays like a magician but his “wrenching” skill are incredible. Comparing Smokey and Cherry you’d not know the difference or the history.

Had another look at your luthier, looks to a bit of a character.
He is geordie, I will forgive him as he repaired your guitar, I am a Mackem (somebody from Sunderland and local rival football team, yes the word is in the Oxford English Dictionary)
His website is very interesting, just when you think these characters are no longer around, you excepted of course.
