Hey folks. I have a question. In our practice section when making my paractice routine, I have gotten tonthe point where Inam just making my own items. My question is, with in the practice rutine itself I would like to add justin’s video to the practice cycle, but how?. Everytime I paste in a ULR for one of justines videos it does not recognise it. For instance if I want to make a practice doing 4X4 finger pattern, I would like to add the workshop video of him describing the 4X4. I loved how we had that in all the practices at the early begining stages. I understand not adding now because we dont need as much hand holding.
I dont know if its a special tag we should add or if that capability is beyond the site at this time. Is there a way to do this? I know I can just review the lesson before practice but its nice having it right there.
Hmm… I’m not quite sure if I understand what you mean exactly. Have you tried this, when setting up a new practice item?
Paste the link to the field “related link”. Save.
When you then open the new item in your practice routine, the link is there (sure, there is no thumbnail). Click the link and the video will play.
Or …Jason, are you talking about adding videos to the description text or adding more than one video? That I haven’t tried

I think you may have answered my question. What I want to do is add a video to a new practuce item. Its good that in grade 3 and 4 he does not spoonfeeding us anymore. It was a hard transition but well worth it. So maybe when I added my video it was working and I didnt realize it because there was no thumbnail. Custom added videos to practice sets would be really cool. I will mess around with it some more and see if I can get it going. There is also a live class coming up with Fanny. I bet she knows a lot of tricks setting up embedded practice stuff. I will follow up with results.
