End of the line - by the Traveling Wilburys missing

I just finished the lesson for “end of the line” by the traveling Wilburys . In that lesson Justin mentions playing along with the cover in the ‘lessons and song app’ which I have. But I could not find it. Was it ever there? If so was it removed for some reason?

Stuff gets rotated in and out of the app somewhat regularly due to licensing agreements.

I might start playing something on the app if it’s there, but I move myself over to the original recording when I can. Even better if I have the song on mp3 and don’t need to worry about whether I can find a version I like online.

I recently started playing Pearl Jam’s version of “Last Kiss” on the app but after a couple days of handholding, started playing along with the recorded version I’ve had on mp3 for years.

For missing songs in the JustinApp, I’ve been using a $15US app (one time purchase) (available on all platforms), LinkeSOFT SongBook Songs and Chords
It’ll also play along if you have an MP3, and is able to slow down the replay too:
It is still in active development and has been around since 1997.

I find a “Chordpro” format (an open standard) of the song on the web, or go to UltimateGuitar END OF THE LINE CHORDS by Traveling Wilburys @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com and export (“export” only on the app version) the chords to Songbook.

A number of folks publish their Chordpro collections online, just search the web for
chordpro songs

There’s a crazy large collection of songs that is growing (1,100+ chordpro songs clocking in at 7.8MB) https://awesomesongbook.com/
This is hosted on Google Drive and takes about 5 minutes to compress and download.
“Dan” does a superb job of creating very well constructed chordpro files–all for free
If you like his style of music, this is a great place to get a lot of quality very quickly—just drag all/the files you want into your Songbook folder on your shared drive: voila they are instantly available.

You can then link the chords to an MP3 copy of the song you have and play along (including at reduced playback speeds)

More than you need, but I love this Songpro software, and that it is created by a little independent operation is a big plus for me–long live Indies!

Cheers,
Bruce

@MusopiaApps Please can you provide a feedback re this song. Thanks

@Kanjo - As other community members have noted, certain songs may be rotated in and out of the app’s library due to ongoing licensing changes in the industry. As a result, some of the tracks mentioned by Justin may no longer be available, since the videos haven’t yet been updated to reflect these changes.

That said, we’re happy to share that this particular song is expected to return to the app in the coming months :slightly_smiling_face:.
