Epiphone standard or slash

Hi all, I am an intermediate player have always used fender strats. Thinking of getting a epi les Paul. Just deciding between 50s standard or Slash Victoria. Just wondering if anyone has tried either and if so what they would recommend. Is the flash worth the extra cost? thanks Gary

The main difference between the two is the neck profile and the pickups, it’s debatable whether it’s really worth the extra money; all signature guitars are more expensive than standard versions basically because it’s different to the mainstream production.
Personally I would not pay the extra but that’s hypothetical because I don’t like the weight of LP’s. Take a look at the PRS SE single cut guitars, personally I think that they’re better than Epiphones.

Any of those would be good, only disadvantage of the Harley Benton guitars is you can’t try them out. The others you should be able to find a shop who has one.
