It is not physically possible for me to reach the G string Fret 2 and D string Fret 6 at the same time without muting the G string with my pinkie. Anyone figure out a work around or do I just need to get more flexible and get finger extension surgery to play this song?!

It is definitely stretchy.
You could capo at fret 2 and play that specific chord grip with open strings.
The other chords of the riff use fretted notes so stay in the same place.
For the bridge you need to adjust as you can not play F major as a barre at fret 1. It could be played as an A shape barre or A-string root power chord at fret 8 (6 further along than the capo). G is another two frets along in that same grip if you choose it.
