Well, Me and AI doing what we can to keep the creative juices flowing. As I work through my current affliction, this will have to do for now. Words are mine, music and production are Suno.
Hi Clint,
Ooo my…I thought that (in a survey about 4 months ago) I was one of the 3% who could still distinguish AI music from “real” music…nope, that ship has now sailed away … ![]()
Nicely done Clint
, although I still prefer to hear your voice and see you playing the guitar in the garden or something …I hope you still do that stuff ![]()

Greetings
Thank you sir! I’m having some back issues that have made playing and singing a little painful. In the future I will experiment a bit more with applying my vocals and playing with AI production.
That was really generated by a computer??
Truly amazing.
Thanks! Yes, my lyrics and prompts with multiple takes (until I get something that I like) into AI.
I guess the artist whos music is more derivative than creative will have a hard time competing.
For me, the best way to improve my guitar playing is to tell an AI to just do it for me. Prompt: “Play the major pentatonic scale at 120 BPM in the key of C. Repeat 100 times” ![]()
I see it as walking and chewing gum. Play the guitar, write songs, use AI to produce those songs. So where others are breaking from guitar to watch TV or play a video game, I’m breaking away to dabble with AI music production.
Thanks. I have a better understanding now.
It’s a song making workflow that’s been around for years. I think Carol King started as a songwriter for a big songwriting company. She’d make demos playing piano and singing. Then pass it on to a singer and studio musicians
Not sure why people are afraid of it.
I just discovered there is a whole AI forum here that I’ll have to peruse.
I can’t speak for others, I think it has its place, but I would recommend passing through Justin’s beginner and intermediate courseware first. Once a player gets some grounding in music, AI can be very useful in more ways than just music production.
