Classic song! I’ll try this for practicing stuck 3&4 chords.
Justin mentions the tab in the book. Which book is it in?
Will, it’s in this one.
Great thanks!
Hey Justin could you add the strumming pattern to the tabs the way it is explained in the video? I wrote it down and that really helped me to work it out instead of watching the same part of the video over and over.
Keep up the great work! You are helping so many of us learn!
Hello Noah and welcome to our community.
Why don’t you pop on over here and introduce yourself?
As far as I know Justin doesn’t add the strumming patterns to any of his songs. I think it’s all to do with the learning process and working out for yourself helps you remember it better. That being said, there are strumming patterns in his song books but I can’t remember if there is one for this song, I’ll have to check when I get home later.
Hello Noah, and welcome to the community .
I think, I can help you out.
I’ve also worked a bit on this song a while ago, and as far as I can remember, the strumming pattern Justin mentions is:
I hope, this helps .
Hi, I’m struggling with how to transition from the rhythm Justin illustrates in the video vs what one should use in the chorus? Any suggestions?
I have a question about playing this tune. It seems easier at times to go from the C major to the Weak Finger G and then to the C add 9, rather than going from from the C major to the “Big G” or “Rock G” and then to the C add 9.
Does anyone else play it this way? Or, is it just better to stick with the “Stuck 3 and 4” G chords on this song?
Your input would be appreciated. Thanks.
You should play it how you are comfortable playing it but I personally do stuck 3 and 4 . It just take time to get use to that.
